Deer, sambar, or Menjangan (English: deer) are ruminant mammals (ruminants) that include family Cervidae. One of the special features is the presence of deer antler (deer horn), and not the horn, which is a bone growth that grows every year (usually in summer) especially on stag (although there are some exceptions). There are about 34 species of deer throughout the world that is divided into two large groups: the old world deer group that includes subfamilia Muntiacinae and Cervinae; well as new world deer group, Hydropotinae and Odocoilinae.
